Abstract

In this paper, we present the design of a dual band dipole network operable at 3 GHz and 5.2 GHz
with an omnidirectional radiation pattern. The basic source is first described and then the network of 4
dipoles is presented. Finally, a potential application will be presented for a base station. The diameter
of the proposed dipole array is 60 mm3, the simulation and measurement results are in good
agreement. The gains of the 4 dipoles on the base station are 2.6 dB at 3GHz and 4 dB at 5.2 GHz.
