The current study investigates all the 81 institutes supplying MTCSOL educations with the methods of online interview, face-to-face interview and questionnaire. The study gets the overview of MTCSOL education in China and finds four problems of MTCSOL education. Firstly, the current teaching models lack their characteristics. Secondly, those institutes have different academic statutes as they are in different schools. Thirdly, the candidates’ research topic for their degree thesis lack internationalization views. Fourthly, some MTCSOL students are weak at their missions on Chinese communication. At the last part, the study gives out some suggestions on improving the MTCSOL education in China, to clear the teaching aims, to refine the curriculum, to offer qualified teachers and advanced teaching philosophies, and to increase the learners’ practical abilities.
